Trish’s Pants-Shittingly Rad Recap: Bills-Browns

Published

on

This game was far from pretty for the Buffalo Bills. There’s definitely work to be done because allowing the 3-6 Browns to dominate in the first half is just inexcusable. A win is a win, but this was an ugly win.

However, there was some good points from the game:

1.) I LOVE TYLER BASS

Do I even need to explain this one? I can’t actually handle it. Just go read my love letter because I need to catch my breath 🥵🥵🥵.

2.) Jockey Oliver does his part

Oliver opened the game with a couple of nice tackles and just kept going. We all predicted a big year from him after his progression last season. But we never would’ve thought this.

He’s becoming one of the most important pieces in this Bills defence. What a man. We hope it’s not a bad injury and he’s back next week.

3.) Nyhiem Hines showing off

Opened the game with a nice 32 kickoff return. Then a 28 yard punt return. Then another 23 yard kickoff return. The trade so far has been paying off for the Bills, who have struggled on returns the past two seasons.

Once he gets a better handle on the playbook, I KNOW he’s going to be a big piece on the offence. It’s been fun to watch.

4.) Matt Milano SLAYS

We all love Milano. Not just because he’s hot as heck… And he has a pretty smile… And a great body. What was I saying? Right. Milano = Good.

Seriously, with Edmunds out Milano has had to step up and he’s done a heck of a job. He’s all over that field and was a large reason why the Browns run game stalled.

5.) Bills need that second half intensity in the first half too

We’ve seen it happen plenty of times, where the Buffalo Bills come out stronger on offence in the second half. But they need to bring that in the first half. If they were playing a team like the Chiefs, that first half performance would’ve put the Bills at a three or four TD deficit.

It’s just not good enough. I don’t even know who to blame at this point. Dorsey for the calls? Allen for not executing the simplest of plays? The Gabe drops? Bad blocking? Just sort it out friends. Can’t have this sloppiness.

Buffalo Bills Honourable Mentions

1.) James Cook: Buffalo’s 2022 second round pick got a number of touches in the second half and he did a LOT with it. Really promising stuff from the rookie RB. I can’t wait to see his future progression.

2.) Damar Hamlin: The safety REALLY stepped up and he’s getting some nice plays in there. I love it.

3.) Singledaddy: This dude is still RB1 and shows it all the time. We love him.
