We have made it to the final week of the NFL regular season. This is going to be a tough week for bets. There are some teams that have clinched their divisions or playoff spots who might not play their starters this week. With that in mind, there are still some good bets.
Chiefs -4 and Cowboys -1
Both of these teams are playing in a divisional match up this week and need a win to help their seeding. The Chiefs play the Broncos, who have some injury issues in the backfield. Both of the Broncos’ starting running backs are questionable and both of their QBs have an injury designation this week. The Chiefs have been very good as of late and this should continue into the playoffs.
The Cowboys, while inconsistent offensively, seem to find a way to get it done against the NFC East. They haven’t lost a division game this year and have been winning by nearly double digits in each of those games. I bet the Cowboys win this game by at least a touchdown.
Seahawks +12.5 and Bengals +3
The Seahawks are traveling to Arizona after a win against the Lions. The Cardinals have struggled at home this year. All of their losses – except one – have come at home. Without DeAndre Hopkins playing, the Cardinals offense hasn’t been the same. The Seahawks may not win this game, but they will keep it close.
The Bengals have been a surprise this year, playing really good football. Joe Burrow has been on fire the last two weeks, throwing for almost 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns. I bet Burrow continues that this week, playing a beaten Browns team who will be starting their backup QB.
Vikings +3.5 and Football Team -.5
The Vikings host the Bears on Sunday. If the Vikings have Kirk Cousins back, this game should end in a Vikings win. They only play in one score games (minus last week and Week 4), this will once again be the case. Vikings win a close game and cover the spread.
The Football Team plays the Giants, who are down to their third string QB. Last time these two teams played, the Football Team won by one point. This time, don’t bet on it being that close. The Football Team should have no problems handling the banged up Giants.
Cooper Kupp anytime TD: Kupp scores almost every game and, even with OBJ there, he is still seeing red zone targets. Expect him to find the end zone again this week.
Devin Singletary anytime TD: The Jets have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL and Singletary has been on a tear lately. He has found the end zone each of the last three games and this should continue into this week.
Travis Kelce anytime TD: The Broncos have a strong secondary but lack quality linebackers. This week is ripe for Kelce to have a big week, including a trip to the end zone.
