Week 11 Injury Report: Buffalo Bills vs Indianapolis Colts

With the Bills set to take on the Colts, it’s time to breakdown the injuries for the Bills and who might be available for the game.

Last week, the Bills reminded us why the Jets play in New Jersey. They were trash. Enter the Colts, winners of four out of their last five, and we have a real showdown at Highmark. Unfortunately, pessimism is in the air, as we will likely be shorthanded by three impactful players.

The Colts enter this matchup with a lot less injury concern. Their IR list includes K Rodrigo Blankenship, DE Tyquan Lewis, WR Parris Campbell, SS Khari Willis, and FS Julian Blackmon. Listed as Questionable, but likely to play, is OLB Darius Leonard.

LB Tremaine Edmunds

Tremaine was a surprise listing to the injury report last week. He was able to play in 100% of the snaps against Jacksonville. However, he did not participate in practice at all last week with a ‘hamstring’ injury. Edmunds missed practice on Wednesday/Thursday this week but could finally return in a limited fashion on Friday. He is likely to be close to a return, but several factors lead me to believe he will not be active Sunday. We have another game four days later, the field will be wet, and he never ramped up to full participation. I would expect to see Tremaine back for the Thanksgiving game.

Prediction: OUT

WR Cole Beasley

Beasley was injured in the Dolphins’ game three weeks ago. He was able to in 67% of the Jaguars’ game snaps, but only 16% of snaps in the Jets’ game. He continues to be limited in practice, but he will still be playing this Sunday. Due to the longevity of the injury here, Cole might have actually cracked his ribs. These usually take about 4 weeks to get comfortable.

LB Matt Milano

Milano played in 97% of the snaps last week but popped on the injury report with a ‘shoulder’ ailment. He was limited all week and was sporting a non-contact jersey. He is slated to play Sunday, so what gives? The most common explanation is a sore AC joint. These can take a couple weeks to feel 100%, but I wouldn’t expect much noticeable drop-off in his play.

Unvaccinated players are out a minimum of 10 days, while vaccinated players can return as soon as they have two negative tests 24 hours apart.
