Video: Breaking Down Notre Dame’s Key Draft Prospects

This week on the Air Raid hour Dave and Steve are joined by Nate Geary of WGR 550 to breakdown the draft prospects from Notre Dame University. Prospects of note include Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Tommy Tremble, Liam Eichenberg, and Aaron Banks.
Nate notes Owusu-Koramoah is such a good fit in Buffalo that he is the one prospect he would trade up for on NFL draft day. He also believes that right now Owuso-Koramoah is a better player than Matt Milano.
On Tommy Tremble, Nate believes his best position as an “F” Tight End is very similar to the role the Buffalo Bills envision for Dawson Knox. That Tremble would be a Knox replacement, not a Knox compliment.
Many people in the Buffalo Bills community believe Liam Eichenberg is one of the safest picks in the draft and a “plug and play” Right Tackle. Nate agrees he is one of the safer picks in the draft but believes he may not have the foot speed to man the right side and will be a better pro on the left side. The Buffalo Bills do not want to find themselves in another Cody Ford situation with a high draft pick without a position as Dawkins in the man on the left side.
Lastly, Aaron Banks is a personal favorite of Nate’s. He believes the 6’5 Banks has the ability to be a “plug and play” Right Guard who could be available as late as early day three. While he played mostly man-gap-power schemes at Notre Dame he flashed an ability to get to the second level in the Senior Bowl meaning he could fit the Buffalo Bills schematically if they stay a zone-blocking team in 2021.
The guys also talk Kyle Rudolph, Gabe Jackson, and Dazz Newsome.
