Universally Beloved Buffalo Bill Bobby Hart Signed by Titans

Published

on

The Tennessee Titans have just beaten the Buffalo Bills twice in three days. Not only did they win on the gridiron in Nashville, but they stole a key fixture of Buffalo’s offensive line. No, not Dion Dawkins. Not Mitch Morse. Not even force-wielding padawan Spencer Brown. I’m talking about practice squad OT Bobby Hart.

A Legend Comes to Buffalo

Ever since he signed with the Bills back in March, Hart was lauded for his valuable experience both as a starter and as a mentor. He was everything the Bills could’ve wanted in a backup lineman. He was the bodyguard of franchise signal callers Eli Manning, Andy Dalton, and Joe Burrow; all of whom were completely fine with him protecting their blindside. Signing him was nothing short of a true contender move.

A Serious Blunder

There were questions aplenty surrounding his release from the active roster back in August. Considering his stellar preseason performances, it was a move that blindsided and astounded most Bills fans. Had Brandon Beane lost his mind? Was ”The Process” a failure? Where would he and the Bills as an organization go from here?

Zach Vaughn on Twitter: “But here’s a sneak peak:-“Bobby Hart is a thief of football joy”-“Calling Bobby Hart a ‘football player’ is an offense to football players everywhere”-“Bobby Hart didn’t do anything bad on this play, but I still can’t stand seeing him on the field” / Twitter”

The Next Man Up

Thankfully, Beane saw the error of his ways and rectified the situation by signing Hart to the Bills practice squad. He would continue to serve as an asset to the Bills both off the field and, in the event of an emergency, on the field.

Bobby Hart, a true team player, stood by week after week, waiting for his opportunity to serve as the next man up. When the Bills reshuffled the offensive line after week 2, Hart was passed over. However, he remained loyal and patient, continuing to support his teammates. His resilience paid off… Unfortunately for Bills fans, Hart’s opportunity would come outside the organization.

A Tragic Loss

The Tennessee Titans, the team that just beat Buffalo by the slimmest of margins, rubbed salt in the wound by taking away one of the most valuable players on this Bills team. HOW DARE THEY!! The audacity! The unmitigated gaul! As if Bills fans didn’t already have enough reasons to hate them.

Buffalo Bills Reddit on Twitter: “The league: “Okay so you have 24 hours to decide if you want to keep Bobby Hart think caref-“Beane: “Nope bye.” / Twitter”

My fellow Bills fans, I am afraid that this poaching, this thievery, by the Titans may prove to be a near-fatal blow to Buffalo’s postseason hopes. For how can Josh Allen possibly survive without the pass-blocking GOAT (by golf rules) Bobby Hart? He truly was the Hart and soul of our offensive line.
