Trish’s Pants-Shittingly Rad Recap: Bills vs. Ravens

My heart has finally stopped racing. That game was so intense, I was literally watching from behind my hands at some points. Good grief Buffalo Bills. Please don’t do this to us again… It was painful.

1.) Josh Allen is *THAT* guy

Now, this can be both good and bad. We all know Allen is beast, there’s no doubt about it. After a slow start in the first half, he came roaring back in the second, finishing the game with 213 yards and one TD from 19/36 completions. It was not the greatest stat line he’s produced, but the additional 70 yards on the ground and the rushing TD cushioned that.

However, the entire offence was, once again, on his shoulders. We all know he’s a fantastic player, but relying on him so heavily is NOT good for his future. The Bills need to figure out how to get the entire offence involved. Because this is getting ridiculous.

2.) The Buffalo Bills Defence is the new Legion of Boom

The Bills defence went OFF. If it wasn’t for their stellar play, this game would’ve been well out of reach. Concerns for the secondary are relatively minor at this point. Damar Hamlin can keep up at safety, Kaiir Elam is every bit of the first round pick he’s supposed to be, and Taron Johnson is emerging as a key player…

They just look GOOD. And that’s even without the incredible work of the defensive line. They kept up a lot of pressure on Lamar Jackson, forcing him out of the pocket on multiple occasions. It’s just unfortunate that he’s a weapon on the ground 🤷‍♀️.

3.) Matt Milano is SEXY

I mean, we already knew this. The Bills LB is one hot dude 🥵🥵🥵. But, today was another level.

Milano finished the game with 13 total tackles, two of those for loss. But the one incredible thing he did… was keep up with Jackson. Anytime he broke free, Milano was there to wrap him up. I think the rest of the league has finally noticed what a STUD he is. I can’t wait to see more of him.

4.) Punting is not fun

I hate punting. It’s the worst. And we saw Sam Martin trot out onto that field three times. THREE!!

It’s inexcusable really. The Bills have been so good at efficiently moving the ball and today was just not that. I don’t want to see it again, even if Martin was a successful punter.

5.) I love Tyler Bass

Many of you already know this. It’s not like I keep it a secret. But the game was, unfortunately, put on his shoulders. And he delivered, like the absolute babe that he is.

I would like a formal apology from all those people who came at me last week because of a missed FG. I’m ready to throw hands.

Buffalo Bills Honourable Mentions

1. The run game was slightly better. Singletary can and will carry this Bills ground game when given the opportunity.

2. One-score losses are a Fugazi Stat. They mean nothing, so people can finally shut up about it.

3. Officiating will continue to suck. There should have been a holding call on Johnson on the Ravens first drive. Lamar should’ve gotten that first down.

4. Bills Mafia STAND UP. Come rain or shine, hell or high water, Bills Mafia will be there.

5. Accountant Ken did a good job. The first half left something to be desired but, overall, I love me some Dorsey.
