Buffalo Bills
Trish’s Pants-Shittingly Rad Recap: Bills-Vikings

Has everyone’s heart rate returned to normal now? Good. Let’s get on with it then. So, my predictions were completely wrong. (Well… except the score.) In fairness though, I did write them with the assumption that Case Keenum would be the Buffalo Bills QB. I should’ve listened to Thigh Doctor.
1.) Defensive Line
The Bills defensive linemen were the stars of this game. No question. They stopped the Vikings from scoring on the 4th and goal from THE ONE. Who does that!? Absolutely phenomenal work.
Too bad the offense screwed it up 🙄.
2.) Singledaddy Won’t Go Quietly
Devin Singletary is making his (potential) final season in Buffalo mean something. He has shown that Hines being picked up before the deadline means nothing to him.
He’s still RB1 and yesterday he showed exactly how true that is. We all love him.

3.) Damar Hamlin Stepping Up
Having both starting safeties sidelined is not how any of Bills Mafia anticipated the season would go. And yet this is where we find ourselves. Micah Hyde is out for the season and Jordan Poyer is seemingly making his decision week-to-week.
Hamlin has HUGE shoes to fill. And he’s doing just that. He might not be Pro Bowl caliber, but he’s doing a very, very nice job. Once Tre White comes back, I’ll feel a lot more confident in this secondary. Even with Hyde not playing again this season.
4.) Edmunds Proving His Worth
I’ve been saying it since the offseason. Edmunds deserves a long-term deal with the Bills. And each week that passes, he proves it just a little bit more.
He made a number of huge plays in this game and is slowly silencing his doubters. He has benefitted significantly from this improved D-Line. I can’t wait for the upcoming offseason. He’s gonna get his bag; I just hope it’s in Buffalo.
5.) Christian Benford Had Himself A DAY
The rookie CB has been showing up all preseason and is now continuing that through the regular season. With White out, Benford has seen a lot of snaps and has been making the most of them.
He might not be making the big plays. But he sure is making his presence known. I’m loving the Bills rookies and backups and how they’re stepping up. And Benford is far and away the most impressive.
6.) Stefon Diggs Is HIM
I will admit, I’ve taken Diggs being on the Buffalo Bills for granted. We knew he was a heck of a WR. But good God Diggs is just not fair. He had a heck of a game Sunday. And I loved every second of it.
That sexy beast.

Honorable Mentions
1.) Josh Allen: I did not think he would be playing. But I forgot that Allen is an alien and mortal injuries don’t affect him. We just need him to play less sugar high.
2.) Von Miller: He made Kirk Cousins shit himself in the pocket a number of times. One led to an INT and another to an incompletion.
3.) Accountant Ken is unstable: I love the chaotic-ness of Kenny D. He actually incorporated a run game… in Buffalo! What in the heck is he thinking!? Just not so great at the end.
