The Underhill Report: Outrageous Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots Predictions

Published

on

It’s the biggest weekend of the Buffalo Bills season … don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. This Sunday is the greatest opportunity for AFC East superiority for the Bills in the last 20 years. It’s time for Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane to plant their flag at the top of the mountain and officially cement the changing of the guard in the division.

These are no longer your big, bad Patriots. They hold a 2-4 record as the calendar approaches November. Tom Brady has been replaced by an inconsistent and underwhelming Cam Newton. Last year’s elite defense has been nothing short of disappointing. It’s now more clear than ever that the dynasty is collapsing before our eyes. Even the great Bill Belichick cannot seem to dump water on the fire, and he knows it.

New England’s most tell-tale sign of a desperate organization was a report this week by Sports Illustrated‘s Albert Breer that they’ve told other teams they’ll listen to trade offers for “almost anyone”.

Now, I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but it’s a possibility we may be approaching a full-on Belichick tank (just a thought). Sound the alarms!

Without further ado, let’s get to this week and the wild possibilities of a new, Brady-less chapter in a division rivalry:

Bill Belichick gets wasted Saturday night and calls his ex Tom Brady repeatedly, leaving some incredibly embarrassing voicemails

Bill is going to be awoken abruptly Sunday morning with a terrible case of the Sunday scaries. As much as New England tried to get Cam Newton to regain his 2015 MVP form, it appears the experiment has failed. You just know Bill has had Brady on his mind. While Tom lights it up down in sunny Tampa Bay, the New England Fall just seems to get colder without their former knight in shining armor.

Bill’s fling with Cam is already getting old, and a quickie here and there with Hoyer and Stidham just isn’t getting it done. Belichick needs to get out there again and play the field. He deserves better.

Jerry Hughes continues his unexpected resurgence with another big day vs. New England

Bills DE Jerry Hughes looking to build off performance that earned him AFC defensive player of the week honors | News 4 Buffalo

Jerry Hughes said “fuck you” last week to all of Bills Mafia. After making zero impact along the defensive line the first six weeks of the season, the fanbase was deservedly on his back for being the supposed “premier” pass-rusher of the front four.

I think Hughes heard the doubters. Either that or he just decided that he doesn’t like the Jets. Whatever the reason, it was a desperately needed rebound for a struggling defensive unit. Hughes found that spark and delivered.

This week he’ll add another two sacks to his season total.

Josh Allen torches Gilmore all day as Belichick is spotted on the sideline actively calling teams to trade him

Reports out of the Patriots facility say CB Stephon Gilmore could be on the trade block. As the Nov. 3rd deadline approaches, Josh Allen is gonna do enough passing against Gilmore for Belichick to just throw up his hands and get on the phone.

By halftime, Gilmore will be on a plane to some lowly organization like Jacksonville or Detroit.
