The name Christian Wade may mean little to the everyday Buffalo Bills fan. But, for Brits, it is synonymous with the memory of him scoring six tries in his 100th career appearance for the Wasps. He is also the fourth-highest all-time try scorer. He was the league’s top try-scorer three times. In short: A Rugby legend.

The only reason he isn’t an international rugby superstar is that England’s coaches constantly overlooked him. The dumbest decision they made.
That’s why his departure from the sport wasn’t too surprising. He had the talent and proved it on more than one occasion. Yet, he was only ever called up once. So, he decided to showcase his athletic ability elsewhere: the NFL.
This is why the Buffalo Bills have more British fans. They gave a star player the chance he needed to prove himself.
Then, this past offseason the Bills went and signed Efe Obada. The poster boy for the International Player Pathway Program. This is one British player all UK NFL fans love. His story and journey are nothing short of incredible.
And now he’s officially a Buffalo Bill.
Bills fans across the pond are going crazy.
To have not one, but two players from the UK on your favorite team evokes a feeling of pride so immense that it simply cannot be explained.
Wade’s career with the Bills so far has been lackluster at best, with the exception of that 65-yard TD. However, with his friend Efe now on board, we can expect good things. Hopefully, he’ll even make those England coaches regret their decision.
And Efe? Well, he needs no introduction His stats speak for themselves. I can’t wait for these Brits to show you exactly what they’re capable of in those Bills colors.
