Super Smart Questions: Bills vs. Steelers
With the Bills set to face the Steelers this weekend here are a few super smart questions that Bills fans should be asking.

Football season is finally here! At least, that’s what half of Twitter is saying nowadays to reassure their followers that they love football. And for the Bills, our season starts off against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday at 1pm Eastern time at Highmark Stadium. And for those of us who are not football scientists, we have questions that need answers.
How tough is this Steelers defense?
This is the third time the Bills have faced Pittsburgh with Josh Allen at the helm of a Sean McDermott-coached team. In the first six quarters, the Steelers defense did well at slowing down this Bills offense. Can they replicate that defensive performance? If I remember correctly, the Steelers defense ranked pretty high when it came to defensive performance.
They had sacks, interceptions, tackles for loss, and I think they even had some pass breakups (those are good for defense). They had good players on defense like Minkah Fitzpatrick, Thomas, Haden, Church, and of course, one of the Watt brothers (JJ or TJ. Definitely not the other one who’s basically the third Hemsworth brother of the bunch). Speaking of the Watt brother who plays for the Steelers, there seems to be a contract dispute between Watt and Pittsburgh. I hear he wants more money, but the Steelers will only give it to him if he agrees to get a Subway logo tattoo on his chest. An interesting situation to watch for sure.
Will JuJu Smith-Schuster return to elite form?
One offensive player the Bills and fans need to think about is JuJu Smith-Schuster. Can we expect JuJu to be in midseason form? And by that, I am referring to his TikTok-making abilities. After completing one of the biggest challenges of his career (the milk crate challenge) in the preseason, JuJu appears to be in great shape. Will he add to that by posting a [insert fire emoji] video of him dancing on the Bills logo before the game?
Should we be worried about Big Ben?
Finally, does the Bills defense need to worry about Ben Roethlisberger? We saw a decline in his performance last season, leading many people to believe he was on his way out. But Ben took a pay cut, lost what looks to be 5-7 pounds becoming leaner and meaner, and I think it’s safe to say that Ben Roethlisberger will be a problem this season. He looks like a man who will not take “no” for an answer. He looks like a man that will use his strength and stature, corner you, and give you all he has until you just submit and let him have his way with you…on the football field, that is.
Those are my burning questions for this Sunday. We are less than a week away from the start of the NFL season, and I know that Bills Mafia is PUMPED. Enjoy your Sunday, and as always… Go Bills!
