Ryan Fitzpatrick is finally retiring after 17 years in the NFL. He spent time with nine teams over his career, but no more time with anyone than with the Buffalo Bills. His four seasons in blue are remembered with a blend of fondness and frustration, much like the rest of that drought era. Will he sign a one-day contract with the Bills at retire at home? Maybe. Home is where the heart is, and Fitzpatrick’s heart resides in Western New York.

Bills Sign Tavon Austin (16:10)

Another bit of news: Tavon Austin is a Buffalo Bill, here to fight for a low-level roster spot. It’s far from guaranteed, but he’s got return experience and, if he makes the team, that will be why. If he can beat out the competition, he has a chance to make the final 53-man roster as the primary return man. He could provide extra experience as a slot receiver, or a gadget guy like Isaiah McKenzie has been thus far.

Rico also touched on Josh Allen’s sub-par showing at ‘The Match’ (28:31), and ask a fantasy football question (48:30). For all that and more, check out the latest episode of The Rico Report on the Buffalo Fanatics YouTube channel.
