Our Offense Has Life! Bills Defeat Bucs 24-18

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills, TampaBay Buccaneers, Game Recap

The Buffalo Bills offense came out firing on all cylinders from the start of the game right up to the end. From a drive that started right at the four yard line to begin the game, to a 75-yard scoring drive to put them up 10, this is the offense we haven’t seen from the Bills since the Miami Dolphins game.

Josh is spreading the ball around

Four receivers had five or more receptions, and Dalton Kincaid is proving himself as an elite option for Josh in the pass game. Khalil Shakir, given the chances, can be a very reliable option for Josh, as he led the team with six receptions for 92 yards on six targets. The Bills have the talent at WR, they just have to use them more and rely on some of their young players/new additions.

Front seven reeks havoc

Three different Buffalo Bills players recorded sacks last night: Taron Johnson, Ed Oliver, and AJ Epenesa. Buffalo also had 10 hits on Baker Mayfield. Epenesa continues his hot season, as he’s now up to five sacks on the season. While Von Miller is still recovering from his torn ACL, the Bills will need to rely on their young rushers to step up, and so far Epenesa has taken that challenge.

Let Josh cook… safely!

After his TD run last night, Josh Allen went into the blue medical tent after taking a hit to his bad shoulder. I’m all for letting Josh cook, as is popular on Twitter now. But you want him to do it without ending up like Cam Newton, taking tons of hits and playing through plenty of injuries that cost himself and his team. Nevertheless, he still had 324 passing yards, 41 rushing yards, and three total TDs.
