NFL Week 13 is here and the bet slate looks great again. There are some big games this week and some money to be made around the league.
49ers -3.5 vs. Seahawks
The 49ers have been red hot and can run the ball with anyone behind the offensive line. The Seahawks have been struggling since Wilson got hurt and even after he came back. Wilson doesn’t look the same as he did pre-injury and isn’t making the throws he normally does. Add in the fact the Seahawks have some injuries at running back and it may prove to be too much for them to overcome.
Vikings -7 vs. Lions
The Lions will most likely be without D’Andre Swift this week and that is a huge loss. He is top five in receptions for running backs and has been putting up good numbers on the ground as well. The Vikings will also likely be without their starting running back in Dalvin Cook, but this shouldn’t be a problem. The Vikings offense has two stud wide receivers in Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. They should be a sure bet to overwhelm a depleted Lions secondary.
Cardinals -1.5 and Colts -3
The Cardinals play the Bears, and this is the week that Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins are supposed to be back. The Cardinals will win this game by about 7 points. To be safe, tease it to 1.5. The Colts play the Texans and the Colts have been red hot as of late. Jonathon Taylor is a top three running back in the NFL and continues to show that week in and week out. This alone will prove to be too much for the Texans.
Ravens +2 and Saints +10.5
The Ravens play the Steelers, who are without some key players on defense again this week. T.J. Watt won’t play and Joe Haden is questionable. The Ravens are another team that has been pretty good as of late, except that loss to Miami. This being a divisional game, I don’t see the Ravens losing to a banged-up Steelers team. The Saints and the Cowboys play on Thursday night and the Cowboys are having a Covid problem, with coaches (Mike McCarthy) and players (Amari Cooper) impacted. CeeDee Lamb is also nursing an injury and, if he plays, won’t be at 100%.
Justin Jefferson TD
Playing a weak Lions secondary without Dalvin Cook should mean a big day for the wide receivers. Jefferson catches a long TD this week.
Deandre Hopkins TD
In his first week back, expect to see him get a lot of targets. I’ll bet that Hopkins hauls in at least one touchdown.
Jalen Hurts TD
After a bad week last week from Hurts, expect a bounce back playing the Jets who have a terrible run defense. Hurts, being the mobile threat he is, should be able to find the endzone on the ground.
