Must Bet Picks of the Week v1.8

Bet

I took last week off from writing, but not from gambling! I’m back and ready to drop a couple of bets. Last week, I went 5-0, bringing my record on the year up to 17-11. I’ll take all day long.

Panthers +3

I’m making this bet and you can be as shocked as everyone else. Here’s my reasoning, Carolina is not a bad football team. Most games end with a three-point differential. Also, Sam Darnold is playing a really bad Atlanta defense that made Tua look average last week.

Let’s forget about weeks three thru six Sammy D and just focus on Carolina’s defense. They are stacked at every layer. There’s a star or a potential star player in every position for Carolina’s defense. Matt Ryan will be running for his life this game.

Panthers win by a touchdown. The box score will be close, but the game really won’t be.

Detroit +3.5

Look, I love this team. I think everyone in America is rooting for the Lions to win their first game. I believe they can do it against Philly.

I’ve said it all year long: Philly is a team that, on paper, should look like a playoff hopeful, but will have a top five pick in this years draft. Technically two because of the Dolphins.

Sirianni has no clue what he’s doing and Jalen Hurts is 80 percent of the offense. Sure, last week he tried to get the running game going, but Sanders got hurt early in the game.

I’m ready to give up on him. Also, watching a Dan Campbell-led team fight for a well earned victory is going to be awesome to watch.

Bengals -10.5

I hate big spreads. I just absolutely despise large spreads. With that said, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are once again going to put on a clinic on Sunday.

The Jets don’t stand a chance here. The Bengals have a top-five defense in the league and the Jets let their promising rookie QB get hurt behind a terrible, terrible offensive line.

I won’t talk about this one for long. Who Dey has a bye week, hammer it.

Buffalo -13.5

This should be an easy win (and bet) for Buffalo. Coming off a bye, McDermott is 4-0 and Josh Allen historically destroys the Dolphins.

This is another game I shouldn’t have to talk long about. Did Tua look better against the Falcons or is the Falcons defense just that bad?

Josh and the Bills bounce back in a big way to remind everyone that they still belong in the discussion for a Super Bowl run. I’m hammering this one.
