Alright wow, we’ve hit a runt. A wise man once said “you gotta know when to fold em” but I’ve never been known to be wise.

The first quarter of NFL games has not been kind to us. In fact we’re back below .500 with a record of 7-9 good enough to not be too broke moving into week five.

Let’s jump into it and win some money back ASAP!

LA Rams -2.5

I refuse to let a fluke of a game against Arizona suade me from picking Mathew Stafford and the high powered offense of Sean McVay.

Look Seattle’s defense is not the legion of boom anymore. In fact it’s looking very sad and has been for a few years. Stafford should throw all over this defense and if he doesn’t he should be able to hand the ball off with ease.

Russell Wilson is a fantastic QB, he’ll keep Seattle in this game but I believe his defense will let him down slowly once more. LA -2.5 is a lock I’m riding with it.

LA Chargers -1.5

I’m sticking with the Cali kids this week. Let’s look at the facts though. Justin Herbert is the real deal, that Chargers defense is the real deal.

I like Cleveland and I think it’s good for football to have Cleveland playing good ball. I just don’t think in a pick em game they have with the Chargers who are coming off a win against a division opponent.

Last week Herbert threw to mostly Tight Ends and Running Backs. On a team that has Mike Williams and Keenan Allen. This tells me Herbert is going to throw to the open man regardless of who it is. I wouldn’t be surprised if they cover the spread and Herbert throws for 2 plus touchdowns.

Buffalo +3

The most anticipated game of the year is here! Rematch of the AFC championship game.

Buffalo is rocking one of the best scoring offenses this year. Kansas City is also rocking one of the best scoring offenses in the league. What this will come down to is the defensive play.

Buffalo has the best defense in the league when it comes to points against and Kansas City has one of the worse.

Do I expect this to be the game Josh Allen and the offense put it together and go crazy? No not at all, but I do expect this Buffalo Defense to go crazy in the trenches and on the back end.
