Round Five (Pick 162): Marlon Williams, WR – UCF
With all of the question marks at wide receiver depth, I think the fifth round is a great time to find that next Gabe Davis for this receiving core. Marlon Williams is a physical receiver who has NFL level hands. While he is a force after the catch, his route running seems to be the biggest issue with him. However, he would be able to learn behind master route runner Stefon Diggs. He can be exactly what I think the Bills are hoping Duke Williams can be.
Round Five (Pick 175): Cordell Volson, OT – North Dakota State
We need offensive line players that can help the running game. In a rotation, which the Bills love to do, Cordell Volson can do just that. He is an excellent run blocker on tape. I still believe it’s not the running backs that are the issue with the run game. It is more that we don’t have enough decent run blockers on the offensive line and at tight end. Volson would definitely improve that aspect.
