Previous Picks

Round Five (Pick 162): Shaka Toney, Edge – Penn State

The Bills may not have a fourth-round selection this year, but they do have an additional fifth-round pick, courtesy of Zay Jones and the Las Vegas Raiders. With pick 162, I have the Bills taking Shaka Toney out of Penn State (#WeAre). He is an edge rusher with a solid frame, high motor, and versatility. Additionally, teams have met with Toney to see if we would play as an off-ball linebacker. Though I do have Buffalo taking Surratt in the second, some additional pass rush and the ability to play as a reserve linebacker will provide solid depth.

Round Five (Pick 175): Shi Smith, WR – South Carolina

With the next fifth-round selection, pick 175, I have Buffalo taking Shi Smith out of South Carolina. A former four-star recruit, Smith has been one of the Gamecock’s top receivers since 2017 and brings even more speed to the offense. While Smith is similar to Isaiah McKenzie, who I said should be re-signed in this week’s Free Agency Roundup, he adds competition with others such as Isaiah Hodgins, and provides more depth at slot wide receiver and returner.
