If you have any New England Patriots players, play them in every type of league. They play the New York Giants on Thursday, so look for the Patriot players to put up some good numbers. This week we have a short list, as it’s a bye for the Bills, and it’s Thanksgiving here in Canada.
Here is this week’s list…
If your QB is out, then be smart and start….
Lamar Jackson QB, Baltimore Ravens
After a couple of under achieving performances in Fantasy, look for Jackson to bounce back this week against a deflated defense in the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals defense is ranked 31st in the league right now, and look for Jackson to take advantage of the weak secondary. The Bengals are more worried about A.J. Green getting traded than actually playing the game. Along with Jackson, look for Mark Ingram, Mark Andrews, and Marquise Brown have big games as well.
If you’re in deeper take a sleeper…
Byron Pringle WR, Kansas City Chiefs
He started the season as the Chiefs third wide receiver, which did not last long as injuries to Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins propelled him to the number one receiver last week. He took control of the number one wide out position with Patrick Mahomes repeatedly going to him, as their comfort level was high. Pringle finished the game with six receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown. If Sammy Watkins is out and even if Tyreek Hill comes back from injury, he is still worth the shot.
Don’t be in the pits and sit….
Sam Darnold, QB, New York Jets
I know everyone has been waiting for Sam Darnold to come back. Do not start him against the Dallas Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys lost a tough one at home last week to the Green Bay Packers. They are coming in this week to send a message to the next team that last week was an anomaly. This is the game that Darnold will probably wish he did not come back. The Jets offense is ranked 32nd in the league even with a stud running back like Le’veon Bell. So, if you have another quarterback not named Baker, start him. Do not start Darnold.
Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns
I was not sure who I should put on here: Baker Mayfield or Odell Beckham Jr. I eventually went with Baker Mayfield because, in the end, he has to get the ball to the receivers, and like last week against the San Francisco 49ers, it might be tough this week as well. The Seattle Seahawks have been very efficient at preventing opposing offenses to score much. Call it a gut feeling, but I have said from the start this Browns team is a little overrated, and it will show once again with Baker struggling to get the ball out. Look for the defensive line of the Seahawks to penetrate through the offensive line to Baker. This will result in a lot of mistakes on his front, which might lead him to another single digit performance in any type of league. In my IDP league he got me 0, so if he can get a one or two, that’s a big improvement. Sit him!
There you have it folks, my week six start and sits. Reach us on twitter @BuFFanatics and @TheMightyDeol. Ask us any Fantasy questions! Although we are a Buffalo Bills page, we all want to win our fantasy leagues. So, every week, I will have some starts and sits for the PPR and the IDP players out there.
