Manny’s Fantasy Facts: Week Seven Sleepers, Starts, & Sits… Bills Edition

After the Buffalo Bills bye week, I thought I would do something different today. It’s the start and sits, Buffalo Bills edition this week.

The Buffalo Bills play the mighty Miami Dolphins led by ex- Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Bills are seventeen point favorites. The thing is, we all know what trap games are, and we know the “Fitz Magic” stuff can happen. It could be a barn burner!

Here is the list…

If your QB is out, then be smart and start….

Josh Allen QB

I don’t care who you have, this is the week that Josh Allen will be a QB1 for fantasy football. His “Hero” ball mechanics were the biggest problem with him, but Offensive Coordinator Brian Daboll has literally screamed that out of Allen’s repertoire. This is where Daboll lets Allen loose to have a huge game. Look for Allen build his confidence and dominate the Dolphins defense with 300 Yards passing, three touchdown passes, rushing for another 50 yards and a running score.

If you’re in deeper take a sleeper…

Duke Williams WR,

Last week, Williams came off the practice squad and onto the active roster. He thrilled Bills Mafia by catching every target and caught the game-winning touchdown against the Tennessee Titans. Look for the same impact that he had but with more targets. Last week, he was the second most used receiver after John Brown. Watch him get 76 yards receiving and two touchdowns this week.

Don’t be in the pits and sit….

Frank Gore, RB

Rookie running back Devin Singletary is practicing and looking like he will be ready to go with this week. That makes the running game crowded with too many hands looking for the ball. With Singletary, Yeldon, and Allen all looking to be run options, I see less time for Gore on the field. Another reason is if the Bills are up big early, they might elect to rest Gore because of his age.

Cole Beasley, WR

Here is another player caught in a crowded area. With John Brown, Duke Williams, Isiah Mackenzie, Andre Roberts, and Robert Foster potentially makes it even more difficult for Beasley to get any traction. Look for Allen this week look for long passes down the field, which Beasley is not usually targeted. He will be used primarily in 3rd down plays looking for the first down. His ability to win off the line in the slot is very appealing in those plays, but look for Duke Williams to get some of those as well.

There you have it folks, my week seven start and sits, Buffalo Bills edition. Reach us on twitter @BuFFanatics and @TheMightyDeol. Ask us any Fantasy questions!
