Fantasy Football Insights (2021): Week 6

Week 5 was an interesting one. Some crazy comebacks (Ravens) an amazing back and forth boxing match (Browns, Chargers), and a ton of injuries (Barkley, CEH, Danny Dimes). Combine all that with bye weeks starting this week, week 6 should be a wild ride.
Steelers Offense vs. Seahawks Defense

I know I picked on the Seahawks last week and the Steelers offense has been all over the place this season. However, the fact of the matter is, the Seahawks defense is awful. The Steelers got their offense rolling against the Broncos. Najee Harris went for over 100 yards rushing and a touchdown. Both Dionte Johnson and Chase Claypool found the end zone, with Claypool going for 120 yards through the air. Now I do not expect all three to score again, but Harris over 100 yards rushing, and one of Claypool or Johnson finding the end zone should happen. I think all three are must starts this week.

Joe Mixon vs. Lions Rush Defense
The Lions rush defense has been anything but stout this year. They are giving up an average of 130 yards per game on the ground. Not to mention, they are coming off a performance in which they gave up 113 yards to Alexander Mattison. Mixon has not been spectacular this year, but he is in the top five in rushing yards, and has scored three times. This has all the makings of a get right game for Mixon. A 100+ yards and a touchdown is a very good possibility.

James Robinson vs. Vikings Rush Defense
Robinson is running the ball at a top level right now, and is the lone bright spot on the Jaguars offense. Each week he is the focal point of the offense, and is averaging 13.4 carries a game and has scored four times in the three games. Minnesota defense is nothing special, giving up at least 100 yards of total rushing offense in each of the first five games. Robinson will have his way with this defense on Sunday.

Justin Herbert vs. Ravens Pass Defense
Herbert is on an absolute tear right now, looking almost unstoppable through the air on a weekly basis. He is in the top five in both passing yard (1,576) and passing touchdowns (13) and the offense as a whole is on a roll. The once vaunted Ravens defense just got shredded by Carson Wentz and is near the bottom in every passing category. I am confident in starting every Chargers offensive player this week. Herbert, Austin Ekeler, Mike Williams, Keenan Allen are all smart players with Jared Cook being a good streaming option.
Remember there is another London game this week with the Jags and Dolphins playing. The 49ers, Falcons, Saints and Jets are all on a bye this week. Feel free to reach out with any start sit questions or any fantasy question in general.
