Buffalo Fanatics Week 5 Playlist

Need a good playlist for Sunday’s Bills game against Kansas City? No problem. Here is the Buffalo Fanatics Week 5 Playlist

Kansas City

The Buffalo Bills have their biggest game of the year coming up against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Prime-Time. In this week’s playlist, I include some intense, get-hyped songs as well as some 70’s-90’s Kansas City rock. Anyways, Go Bills, Beat KC.

Amine – Reel It In

To start off the playlist we have Portland-native Amine’s second biggest song to date. He talks about reeling in the finer things in life. Women, jewels, cars, etc. Let’s attribute Amine’s lifestyle of reeling in straight W’s to the rest of the season, and start a rampage of a win streak following a W against the Chiefs.

Creed – Higher

The Bills really have one domino left in their season in order to prove themselves. If they walk away victorious against Kansas City, their power ranking should only go higher and higher. Also, Josh Gordon.

Cosmo Pyke – Wish You Were Gone

This track by London-native Cosmo Pyke is a testament to Patrick Mahomes’ wife and brother. Lyrics such as “So get out my face, and leave me be” and “Your argument is long and now you’ve overstayed your welcome” hit home on the NFL fanbase’s view of Patrick’s annoying family.

Shooting Star – Last Chance

Our first Kansas City band, Shooting Star got a lot of love in the midwest during the late 70’s. This song is how the media views the Bills this week. If they win, they’re Super Bowl favorites. If they lose, they’re pretenders. So, this is our last chance to prove ourselves.

Tech N9ne – On Our Way to L.A.

Tech N9ne is the only rapper to ever come out of KC with any sort of credit to his name. Recently, he has become a “cringey” rapper who associates with Logic, Eminem, Joyner Lucas, etc. However, when he first started his career in the early 90’s, he was one of the hottest hip-hop prospects. In this song, Tech takes his listeners through a journey across the country from KC to LA. Much like Buffalo, beat Kansas City and start your journey to Super Bowl 55 in Los Angeles.

Puddle of Mudd – Life Ain’t Fair

Puddle of Mudd got pretty big, especially during the mid-90’s and this bonus track has been in my library for years. Life wasn’t fair when Kansas City smoke Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game, so stick up for yourselves, Bills Mafia, and smack KC in their face to their own tune.

Playboi Carti & Lil Uzi Vert – Shoota

The connection between the game and this song is a story of revenge. Last year, players such as Alex Okafor, Chris Jones and Tanoh Kpassagnon bullied the absolute hell out of the Bills linemen. So, to the linemen, protect your Quarterback.

Pardison Fontain – Rodman

This week’s Buffalo artist highlight is Pardi Fontain, who has blown up over the past year. This song “Rodman” is all about doing the dirty work. That’s what I think it’s going to take to beat the Chiefs. Be extra physical, win the trenches, be risky, it’ll all pay off in the end.

Kanye West & Jay Z – Primetime

It’s the first primetime game of the year for the Buffalo Bills and having coveted artists such as Ye and Jigga hype us up throughout the game only makes sense. Put on for the nation, and establish yourselves as contenders.

Tyler, the Creator & DAISY WORLD – RISE!

This weekend I’ll be attending Austin City Limits and seeing tons of artist including Tyler. Wait, actually no. The Bills and Tyler play at the same time. Guess I’ll have this song in the background as I watch Buffalo rise to the top at the festival bar.
