Buffalo Bills: Things We Know This Week

“There is no defense against a perfect pass. I can throw the perfect pass.” – Dan Marino
Recent Cheekto-Vegas watering-hole chit-chat contained mentions of how Dan Marino never had a world class running attack to compliment his arm. He went to a Super Bowl, lost early in his career, and simply never made it back.
“I’ve experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows. I think to really appreciate anything you have to be at both ends of the spectrum.” – John Elway
Others mentioned how John Elway got to the Super Bowl earlier in his career several times, coming up short. When the Broncos gave him Terrell Davis at the end of his career the Broncos won back to back titles. Elway was the MVP in the second victory before he road off in to the sunset (retirement).
“I definitely need to do everything I can to help whoever is going to catch the ball.” – Josh Allen
The heated conversation was obviously tied into Buffalo Bills talk and what exactly the Bills need to compliment Josh Allen. The general consensus was that the Bills have a world class quarterback and certainly should not miss the opportunity to become world champions.
“I am definitely hungry, not only to get better myself, but to win a Super Bowl.” – Derrick Henry
Some fans have wanted to entertain the possibility of a trade for Derrick Henry. Ezekiel Elliott and Leonard Fournette both recently became free agents and, of course, became part of the conversation in between gulps of green beer.
“We had a lot of young guys step up in that game.” – Bijan Robinson
Some mock drafts have Buffalo selecting Bijan Robinson in the first round of next month’s draft… if he lasts that long.
“I’m a guy who can play all three downs, and I excel in all areas of the game.” – Ezekiel Elliott
My take on the topic was a big question mark if the Bills have enough running back touches with their offense to justify that kind of investment (or to satisfy a big name running back). I believe the Bills need more talent at the wide receiver position. Josh Allen can make all of the throws and open receivers can just enhance that elite arm.
“That is one of my biggest problems; I do get upset when we lose and it takes me a while to get over it.” – Leonard Fournette
Things we know about the Buffalo Bills this week:
Dane Jackson re-signed for one year. Keep your own.
The Bills have signed wide receiver Trent Sherfield to a one year contract.
Damien Harris, the running back, has signed on with the Buffalo Bills for one year.
