Buffalo Bills: Things We Know This Week

A multitude of people proclaim Josh Allen as the favorite to win the League MVP this season. He has previously been the runner up to Aaron Rodgers. The Buffalo Bills have only had the NFL league MVP on their roster twice in franchise history. Both were preeminent running backs in the league.

Things we know about the Buffalo Bills this week:

Former Buffalo Bills WR Marlin Briscoe passed away. He was an All-Pro Wide Receiver for Buffalo. He won two Super Bowls with the Miami Dolphins and was the first black NFL quarterback with the team that drafted him, the Denver Broncos.

All-Pro defensive back Jordan Poyer is a huge supporter of Nick McCloud. Poyer came up as a seventh round pick who had to go through several teams to finally get his chance in Buffalo and sees a lot of himself in McCloud.

Buffalo Bills Linebackers Coach Bob Babich has retired. His son Bobby, the former defensive back and safety coach at One Bills Drive, is succeeding his father at the position. He has been on the McBeane staff since the very beginning.
