Buffalo Bills: Things We Know This Week
“Champions behave like champions before they are champions.” – Bill Walsh
It was rather flattering, as a Bills fan last year at this time, when Las Vegas and the football world were crowning the Buffalo Bills Super Bowl champions prior to a pre-season snap.
“Losers assemble in small groups & complain, winners assemble as a team & find ways to win.” – Bill Parcells
It was quite a thrilling change of pace for the Bills to be referenced as this unstoppable football machine.
“Perception is reality, but it may not be actuality, and you have got to be able to keep the difference between that.” – Bill Cowher
The Bills were 13-3 (14-4 including playoffs). Buffalo dealt with the Tops Shooting, blizzards, ice storms, a relocated game, injuries, and of course the entire Damar Hamlin situation. Because they lost to Cincinnati in the playoffs, they have dropped off the Super Bowl radar.
“There can be no separation in your organization. You win as a team, you lose as a team.” –Mike Shanahan
The Buffalo Bills are still a very good team. I feel like they are better on paper than a year ago. They have a very tough schedule. Do your thing again this fall. Just win in January!
“It’s a very competitive thing, pro sports. The hardest thing in pro sports is staying up there.” – Joe Gibbs
