Bills Pass Game Dominates, Buffalo Squishes Fish 48-20

The Buffalo Bills made plenty of highlight worthy plays today. Some good, some bad. One thing I want to touch on real quick is Tre White potentially being lost for the season with an Achilles injury. White was just getting back to form and looked like he could have a really good season. Now, they’re back to square one where they were last year and will be scrambling to find a CB via free agency. But let’s not dwell on that too much. It was still an exciting win against a division rival to put Buffalo at 3-1 on the year.
Stefon Diggs was unguardable today
Kader Kohu and the entire Miami Dolphins secondary couldn’t stop Diggs today. He put on a show, catching six Josh Allen passes for 120 yards and three(!!!) TDs on the day, including a 55 yarder. Him and Gabe Davis looked like they were in mid-season form today.
Pass rush dominates
For the third straight week, the Bills pass rush was everywhere. They put up four sacks, with two going to Greg Rousseau, one to Ed Oliver, and another to DaQuan Jones. The defense also accumulated nine QB hits, and held Raheem Mostert to nine rushing yards all day.
Injuries killed the defense today
As mentioned earlier, Tre White is being evaluated for an achilles injury, Christian Benford left the game with a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, Micah Hyde, Ed Oliver, and Taron Johnson also left with unknown injuries.
BIG day for the passing game
Josh Allen finished with 320 yards and four TDs in the air. Stefon Diggs caught three of Allen’s TDs, while Gabe Davis caught one (and totaled three receptions for 61 yards as well). The Buffalo Bills need this passing attack to continue into next week, when they face Trevor Lawrence’s Jaguars in London.
