Buffalo Bills: BF Madden Sim Week 9 Preview: Chargers at Bills
The Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers will face off in week 9 of the BF Madden Sim.

The Buffalo Bills (5-2) are back at home to take on the Los Angeles Chargers (0-7) in week 9 of the Buffalo Fanatics Madden Sim. After a scrappy victory over the Indianapolis Colts last week, the Bills are looking to improve their record to 6-2 on Sunday. Here are the keys to Sunday’s game.
Bills defense vs. Justin Herbert
Rookie Quarterback Justin Herbert has been the starting quarterback for the Chargers this season and has been a big reason why they are winless in 2020. Although the Oregon product has played better than many would anticipate this season (1.710 yards, 10 touchdowns, and five interceptions) he has still had his fair share of rookie moments. He’s a raw prospect that is playing against the best of the best and it has led to the Chargers season being a total wash up to this point.
Don’t look past L.A.
Although they’re winless, the Bills mustn’t look past the Chargers. Sure they’re having a horrible season, but they have NFL players on their team too and some very goods especially. Joey Bosa, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Derwin James are all top-notch talents at their positions. They can all play at a high level and a team like the Chargers won’t be winless forever. The Bills have to come into this game focused and ready to play.
Consistency
The Bills were not consistent at all last week. They played an awful three quarters and then all of a sudden came alive in the fourth and overtime. They need to come out and play a much more consistent game on Sunday. With a team like the Chargers, if the Bills play a solid game all around, they’ll win. However, if they make a bunch of mistakes and leave the door open for L.A. they could see an upset take place.
Pass protection vs. Chargers front seven
The Bills pass protection was a disaster last week as Josh Allen was sacked six times. Against Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram, the Bills offensive line will have to bring it this week. The last time these two teams faced off Allen was eaten alive in what was his first career start. You know Allen wants to show to these Chargers that he’s not the same player from that game. The Bills offensive line can help Allen do that by keeping him on his feet.
On paper, It should be an easy win for the Bills who are the better team by far. The Chargers are winless but will still come out swinging as they don’t want this losing streak to continue. When it comes down to it, The Bills are the better team and should take care of the Chargers who have to make a coast-to-coast trip.
Prediction: Bills: 38 Chargers: 17
