The Buffalo Bills (9-2) are back at home to take on the Arizona Cardinals (3-8) in week 12 of the Buffalo Fanatics Madden Sim. After a dominating victory over the Miami Dolphins last week, the Bills are looking to improve their record to 10-2 on Sunday. Here are the keys to Sunday’s game.
Force Arizona to run the ball
The Cardinals have struggled this season and a large amount of the blame goes to their rushing attack, or lack thereof one. Arizona’s leading rusher this season, Kenyan Drake, 637 yards, and two touchdowns while averaging a brutal 3.4 yards per attempt. If the Bills want to take the Cardinals out, forcing them to run the football would be a good start.
Stopping Chandler Jones
Chandler Jones is one of the few bring spots for Arizona this season. The eight-year veteran out of Syracuse is having another great season, as he has 9.5 sacks so far. It will be a big task for Dion Dawkins as he faces one of the most consistent pass rushers in all of football. Dawkins can prove why the Bills should pay this offseason with a big game on Sunday.
Stefon Diggs drama
As reported following last week’s win over Miami, Stefon Diggs wasn’t happy with the number of targets he got. Will this drama get in the way of this week’s preparations? Will the Bills feed Diggs on Sunday and make him the centerpiece of the game plan? It will be interesting to see what impact this may have on the players and coaches.
Air it out
Both of these teams are two of the more exciting passing offenses in football, which should mean a lot of scoring and big plays on Sunday. With stars at quarterback and receiver on both sides, it could be a busy day for NFL Redzone. Can Sean McDermott’s squad keep pace with Cliff Kingsbury’s air raid offense?
The Bills are the better team in this game. At home, with Arizona having to make a cross-country trip the Bills should be fine in this game. They have been one of the hottest teams in football and that should only continue on Sunday.
Prediction: Bills: 45 Cardinals: 24
