The Buffalo Bills (6-2) are back at home to take on the Cleveland Browns (4-4) in week 10 of the Buffalo Fanatics Madden Sim. After a dominating victory over the Los Angeles Chargers last week, the Bills are looking to improve their record to 7-2 on Sunday. Here are the keys to Sunday’s game.
Shut down the Browns weapons
Cleveland has a plethora of talented players on the offensive side of the ball. Odell Beckham Jr., Austin Hooper, Jarvis Landry, and Nick Chubb present a lot of mismatches for opposing defenses. The Bills will have to find a way to shut down these players. It’s a tall task for any defense to do, but the Bills are well coached and very talented on defense. They might just be the team to make it happen.
One of the flaws for Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield this season has been interceptions. Through eight games he has thrown six interceptions. The Bills defense will have opportunities to get their hands in the passing lanes and force some interceptions. Guys like Tre White and Micah Hyde could have big games for the Bills.
Get Diggs the football
The Bills have been playing great football recently and a big part of that has to do with Stefon Diggs. He has become the focal point of the Bills passing offense and it has paid off tremendously. The Bills passing attack has gotten over the 300 yards four games in a row now and Diggs in one of the top receivers in the league in yards and touchdowns. That trend should continue on Sunday.
Protect Josh Allen
The offensive line has given up some sacks over the first half of the season which needs to change moving forward. The Browns have one of the best pass rushers in football in Myles Garrett and the offensive line will have to be ready for him. Allen can’t get hit as much as he has throughout the season because if anything were to happen to Allen, the season would be over.
On paper, It should be a tough game for the Bills. The Browns are a very talented team that could erupt at any point this season. It should be a physical game but the Browns are desperate to get their season turned around and Sunday might just be the game where it happens.
Prediction: Browns: 28 Bills: 24
