Buffalo Bills: BF Madden Sim Divisional Round Preview: Texans at Bills

The Buffalo Bills will host the Houston Texans in a Divisional Round matchup in the BF Madden Sim.

The Buffalo Bills (13-3) will host their first playoff game since 1996 as they take on the Houston Texans (11-4-1) of the Buffalo Fanatics Madden Sim. After a week off, the Bills are looking to advance to the conference championship. Here are the keys to Sunday’s game.

Watson vs. Allen

Josh Allen and Deshaun Watson were one and two when it came to MVP voting in 2020. The two will now face off in a playoff game. Between their big-time arms and athleticism, there should be many big plays. It should be exciting to watch these young superstars go at it.

A rematch of last year

The Bills and Texans met up last season in the playoffs in what was a heartbreaking loss for the Bills. After going up 16-0 in the third quarter the Bills watched their lead evaporate, losing in overtime 22-19. This year the Bills can get over their demons with a win over Houston.

A big-time head to head

Allen and Watson might be the most hyped-up head to head matchup on Sunday, but the most important matchup will be Dion Dawkins vs. J.J. Watt. Watt has had a great season, recording 14 sacks, while Dawkins has been very good at left tackle. Can Dawkins keep Watt in check?

Expectations heightened

In years past just making the playoff would have been a huge deal for the Bills. However, in year four of Sean McDermott, those expectations have since changed. Just going to the playoffs isn’t satisfactory, the Bills must win in the playoffs. Are they ready to make this next crucial step?
