BREAKING: McBeane Extended Through 2027
This morning, the Buffalo Bills announced their latest big move… extending Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane. The most successful HC-GM duo since Marv Levy and Bill Polian will now be tied to the organization through 2027.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport further elaborated on the moves, stating that the extensions have “actually been done for some time” and “puts them [McDermott and Beane] in line contractually, linking their deals to the same year.”
Now, this is the point where I’d tell you why this move is significant and how it’ll impact the Bills moving forward. But we already know those things. In the interest of time, I will sum it up in two sentences…
The Buffalo Bills sucked before Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane got here. They’re very good now.
And it’s, in large part, due to stable, competent leadership on the field and in the front office. With the McBeane braintrust firmly entrenched at the helm, the Buffalo Bills should be contenders for the foreseeable future.
