Buffalo Bills BF Madden Sim: Bills beat Seahawks 37-26

The Buffalo Bills take care of the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football in week 6 of the BF Madden SIm.

It was a very impressive victory for Buffalo on Sunday Night Football in front of the home crowd. The offense was humming and the defense was opportunistic en route to a well-played game. Most importantly the Bills now sit at 3-2 as they head into the middle of the season. Here are five takeaways from Sunday’s game.

Stefon Diggs lights it up

Stefon Diggs finally had the game that Bills fans have been dreaming about when they first acquired the wide receiver from the Vikings. Diggs had six receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns, as he torched the Seahawks defense deep down the field on several occasions. He was also awesome after the catch, turning short throws into big plays. Ultimately Diggs played like a number one wide receiver and proved why he’s considered to be one of the best in the league.

Josh Allen has another big game

As I wrote on the pregame article, when the Bills let Josh Allen throw the ball all over the yard, they win games. Sunday was no different. Allen went 16 of 20, for 323 yards, and two touchdowns. He was outstanding and played some of the best football of his career. Allen averaged over 20 yards per completion and was lethal down the field. If Allen plays anywhere near this level the Bills will almost always win.

The third-down defense improved greatly

The Bills defense struggled to get off the field on third down against Kanas City in their last game. This past Sunday, the Bills were much better. Seattle was just 5 of 13 on third down, a much better number than what we’ve seen throughout the whole season. Bills fans can only hope that this will be consistent for the remainder of the season.

Singletary struggles

Outside of a monster game in New England, it’s been a very disappointing season for Devin Singletary. On Sunday, Singletary had 71 yards on 22 attempts (3.2 yards per carry), one touchdown, and a fumble. It’s been tough sledding for Singletary all season, who can’t seem to find his grove. With Zack Moss looking very good this season, some have to wonder if Singletary’s days as the number one running back are close to coming to an end.

Josh Norman shows up once again

After being called out in the win against Rams for his poor play, Josh Norman has been one of the best players for the Bills over the past two weeks. He had his best game as a Bill yet. Norman had a pick-six, a sack, and nine total tackles. If Norman can keep this play up, the Bills defense will become an absolute force with essentially no weaknesses.

The Bills will be home and on national television once again next as they have the (3-3) New England Patriots coming to town, on Monday Night Football.
