Buffalo Bills

GMFB Names Josh Allen as 2019 Breakout Player

This morning on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football“, NFL Analyst Kay Adams said her top breakout player for 2019 is Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

“I got dragged on Twitter, remember this? When I said Josh Allen reminds me a lot of Cam Newton when he was drafted to Buffalo. And I think he has a lot of those attributes.”

– Kay Adams, NFL Analyst

Adams also credited the Bills for their offseason moves, as she noted that they added a ton of help for Josh Allen to be successful this year. Names like Cole Beasley, John Brown, and Mitch Morse are all big names that will contribute to aiding the Bills’ franchise quarterback. Other names that were given this title were Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott also credited Allen and fellow 2016 first-round pick Tremaine Edmunds on their development and their importance of being in Buffalo.

“We’re trying to put a team together and the bottom line is Josh is a big part of that. His leadership and Tremaine’s leadership will be key to our success, at a young age, because there’s a gap with what we had last year.

– Sean McDermott,

All eyes are on Allen this year as the hope is he will be able to bring Buffalo back to the playoffs, something a Bills quarterback has been unable to do since the Jim Kelly days.
